In 4 months and 8 days--from August 24th, the day Hannah Kate was life flighted to St. Jude, until December 31st--"Team Hannah Kate" raised over $152,000.00 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and supporting charities! Thank you "Team Hannah Kate!" Without your support St. Jude could not do the research necessary and give the extraordinary care that they give in an effort to make all the precious children, including our Hannah Kate, well so they can live long healthy lives!     Hannah Kate Johns was born on April 9th, 2010 to her delighted parents Stephanie and Flint Johns. She has been the light of their lives and they have marveled as she has grown and started exploring her environment. True to her heritage, Hannah Kate loves being outdoors and loves the animals; her puppy dogs Buster the boxer, Macy and her horse Scooter. Hannah Kate also has the most contagious smile. She loves to smile and laugh! She finds humor in ordinary things; things the adults sometimes overlook.

    August 22nd, 2011 started out as an ordinary day in the Johns’ family lives. However, by the end of the day the family was catapulted on an unexpected adventure; the adventure of a diagnosis of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia for their precious baby Hannah Kate. This is an adventure that other people take; we are now other people.

    After being stabilized by Palms West Children's Hospital, Hannah Kate was life flighted to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for treatment. To say that St. Jude is an amazing place is a complete understatement! Everyone, from the doctors to the people that care for the patient’s rooms, is some of the most caring people you will ever find. Never does a St. Jude professional leave a patients room without asking if everyone is OK and if anything is needed, NEVER. If you have to take an adventure of this sort, taking it with the people at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital makes the journey a lot easier.

    Through this entire adventure Hannah Kate continues to laugh and smile. While, like everyone else, she sometimes gets tired, hungry or just plain tired of being poked at, she has remained happy, smiling and laughing. When the adults in her life get weary, all they have to do is look at this beautiful child with her contagious smile and laughter and their day is immediately brighter.

    With the help of God, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and everyone on "Team Hannah Kate" we know that this adventure will have a positive result and Hannah Kate will be a shining example of what God, St. Jude, love, support, prayers, positive energy, and laughter can do for one’s life.

    The people in Okeechobee, Fl and the surrounding Lake communities are astonishing! Only 2 months and 5 days after Hannah Kate was diagonsised with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and flown by life flight to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital these amazing people raised $75,000.00 for St. Jude.

    It started with Leslie and Bobby Joe Fulford and Chelsa and Tuyl Oxer deciding to put on the rodeo. Thank you Leslie, Bobby Joe, Chelsa and Tuyl Oxer. Without this brillent idea none of

    this would have happened. Then the businesses and people in these wonderful communities stepped up in a major way. So many businesses and people gave "freely and cheerfully" not only of money but also of their time to make this rodeo a success.

    Thank you is so inadequate. Hannah Kate's entire family, and all the families whoes precious children are at St. Jude, want everyone to know how grateful we are for all your support for this most worthy cause!

    Youth Breakaway Roping

    This event was presented by C & C Roping School.

    Thank you to C & C Roping for sponsoring this event which raised $1500.00 for the Ronald McDonald house. So many families depend on the Ronald McDonald house so they can be with their sick children while they are in the hospital.

    Hannah Kate's family and all the families who have sick children in the hospital want C & C Roping School to know how much your donation means to everyone. Thank you!

    2011 "Guys Real Deal" Raffle

    Kaylon and Seth Rodriguez of Future Kash Farms generously donated a breeding to their AQHA sire "Guys Real Deal" to raise money for St. Jude and St. Jude's commitment to cure cancer in all children. 100% of all the money raise will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

    This raffle raised $2425.00. Thank you to all the people who supported this raffle by purchasing tickets. Your support of this raffle, and therefore, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, just mean the world to so many people who rely on St. Jude to save their precious children.

    The winner of this raffle was drawn on January 7th, 2012 and is Indian Ridge Ranch of Bradton, Florida!

    Tower Hill Insurance Donation

    William and Donna Shively of Tower Hill Insurance based in Gainesville, FL had a concept for the 2011 holiday season. They asked their 425 employees and the employees agreed to the idea. What was the idea? Instead of the usual holiday party, Tower Hill Insurance employees decided to use the money that would have been spent for the party and donate it to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for the children.

    So, in honor of Hannah Kate, Tower Hill Insurance made a donation of
    $50,000.00 (fifty thousand) to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital!

    Thank you William and Donna and each and every employee of Tower Hill Insurance! What an incredible holiday gift to all the parents whose precious children are at St. Jude! Without people like you St. Jude could not provide the care and research to all the families they do and never ask those families for a dime. Your gift means the world to so many people!

    If you would like to make a donation in honor of Hannah Kate please consider a donation to
    St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. This wonderful organization takes in and treats ALL children regardless of their parents ability to pay. It just doesn't get better than that!

    St. Jude cannot work in a vacuum. Without these housing options a lot of families could not go to St. Jude for treatment.
